Commodity organisations cannot fight the animal health fight in isolation. All role-players such as commodity organisations, the national and provincial departments of animal health, private veterinarians, input suppliers and other organisations and institutions will have to work together to keep our animals safe. Disease management and control is a national issue. This should be tackled and managed collectively.
