Meat imports increased

Bovine meat imports for August 2021 amounts to 1 051 tons, representing an increase of 6% if compared to August 2020, according to Agri Inspec.

The FOB (Free on Board) price for August 2021 was R41.54 p/kg and R45.73 p/kg for August 2020. This represents a 9% decrease in price per kg.
