SUBJECT : APPOINTMENT SAMPA GENERAL MANAGER
It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you Nadine Naylor as the General Manager for SAMPA.
Nadine commenced with the Association effective today, 26th October 2015.
The appointment of a General Manager ushers in a new era for SAMPA and, together with the voluntary levies, will demonstrate to the relevant stakeholders that the industry is in a position to self-regulate itself.
Nadine will be assisting the Exco team in setting up the association to be able to receive and administer the levies which will be utilised to self-regulate the industry.
Nadine will be based for a few months in the Tiger Offices to facilitate a hand-over from myself to her. One of her immediate tasks will be to find, and establish, an office for
SAMPA to ensure the Association is recognised as being sufficiently independent.
There will be further communication in this regard in due course, but for now please join me in welcoming Nadine to SAMPA.
